1. Are all pieces made to order?

Yes. 100% of our products are custom manufactured after payment or deposit confirmation. We do not keep any finished inventory.

Each order activates a personalized design and production process crafted specifically for you.

2. How long does production take?

Estimated production time is 4–8 weeks depending on design complexity and workload. These timeframes are estimates and do not guarantee exact delivery dates.

3. Why are custom pieces final sale?

Every piece is produced specifically for you. Once fabrication begins, the item cannot be resold. For this reason, custom orders are final sale and non-refundable.

4. How does the deposit system work?

We offer a non-refundable 50% deposit option to confirm your order.

The deposit secures production scheduling and material allocation.

The remaining balance must be paid when the piece is completed.

5. Are all products eligible for the 50% deposit option?

The 50% deposit option is available only on select products within our online store.
If a product qualifies for partial payment, the option will be clearly displayed on the product page.
For orders placed through the “Start Your Custom” section, deposit eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and remains at the discretion of EL ORFEBRE INC., depending on design complexity, materials, and project scope.
In certain cases, full payment may be required to begin production.

6. Can I request a design you don’t have listed?

Yes! Custom work is our specialty.

You can request a custom quote through our “Start Your Custom” section. We evaluate feasibility and provide an estimate before production begins.

7. Do you work with gold?

Yes. We offer gold exclusively through our custom order process.
All gold pieces must be requested and processed through the Custom Services section of our website.

8. Do you guarantee exact weight or stone size?

Due to handcrafted manufacturing, exact metal weight, stone size, and total carat weight cannot be guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing. Slight variations may occur for structural integrity and aesthetic balance.

9. What happens if I provide the wrong ring size, name, or date?

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify all information before submitting the order, including sizes, names, initials, dates, and designs. Errors provided by the customer will not be considered manufacturing defects and may require additional charges for correction.

10. Do you offer rush production or guaranteed deadlines?

EL ORFEBRE INC. does not offer rush production services and does not guarantee delivery deadlines.

Rushing production can compromise cast quality, structural integrity, and finishing precision. If you need a piece for a specific date, we recommend ordering well in advance.

11. What does the warranty cover?

We offer a limited 30-day warranty that only covers structural manufacturing defects. Normal wear, impact damage, misuse, or unauthorized modifications are not covered.

12. How much time do I have to complete my remaining balance?

Once your piece is completed, you have 30 calendar days to complete payment. If no response or payment is received within that time, the order will be considered abandoned and may be canceled without refund of the deposit.

13. Are your stones authentic?

We primarily use high-quality moissanite and materials explicitly listed in each product description. If you have questions about a specific stone or material, contact us before placing your order.

14. What if I am not satisfied with the appearance of the piece?

Custom pieces are made in accordance with your approved design. Slight variations in shape, shine, texture, or finish are inherent to handcrafted work and are not considered defects. Personal taste, changes of preference, or subjective expectations do not qualify as reasons for refunds or disputes.

15. Can I make changes after production starts?

Once production begins, changes are not guaranteed. If a modification is technically possible, it may require additional labor or full remanufacturing and associated costs must be covered by the customer. Always review all details carefully before approving the design.

16. Do you guarantee delivery dates?

Production and shipping timelines are estimated only. EL ORFEBRE INC. does not guarantee exact delivery dates. Delays due to workload, material availability, carrier delays, or force majeure do not qualify as grounds for refunds, cancellations, or disputes.
